CJPVFD Annual Fundraising Initiative begins

Dear Neighbors,

October marks the start of Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department’s annual fundraising initiatives. Professional  fundraisers will be knocking on doors in Cabin John, Potomac, and West Bethesda neighborhoods to ask for your support, by donating directly or by purchasing family portraits taken in our fire station. Your generosity is critical to our Department’s important fire rescue services and we greatly appreciate any amount you want to give. The fundraisers are directly contracted and their work overseen by the Department’s Auxiliary (CJPFDA). Checks may be made out to CJPFDA. If you have any questions or concerns about our fundraising, we want to know! Please contact Ms. Mary Morgal, Auxiliary President, at 301-229-4043.

On October 21, the Department will host its annual Open House from 10:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. at our River Road station. Please check our electronic sign or Facebook page for additional information, and do join us for a day of activities that will appeal to all ages and interests. Our members take pride in showing off our station and demonstrating their fire rescue skills.

The holiday season would be incomplete without the Department’s annual holiday tree sale. You’ll again find a wide selection of Pennsylvania-grown spruce trees, wreaths and bunting. The lot will be open evenings during the week and all day long on weekends, rain or shine, starting November 24 and continuing until the last tree is gone.

We thank all of you for your continuing support and look forward to seeing you throughout the fall season!

The Officers and Members of the Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department
